Samia Afroz is a B.Sc. graduate from Biotechnology programme of Mathematics and Natural Sciences department of BRAC University. She did her final year project on plants bearing the title, ‘A Short Review and a Preliminary Regenerative Study of a Commercially Important Bangladeshi Potato Variety: Diamant’ under the supervision of an eminent Professor in this field. She has active participation in a diverse miscellany of extra-curricular activities including social welfare and leadership. In addition to that, she still aspires to learn more and master her knowledge and research skills in a broader range. She is currently enrolled as a research intern at ideSHi acquiring different skills and techniques by being active in different projects.
