Golam Sarower Bhuyan is a research officer at the Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives (ideSHi). In 2012, he graduated from department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his MSc. from the same department in 2014. He did his MSc. thesis at the International Centre for Diarrheal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) on an oral cholera vaccine named Shanchol. He received a fellowship from National Science and Technology (NST) ministry, Govt. Bangladesh in 2013. He joined ideSHi in August, 2014. He has also worked on acute respiratory and enteric infections in children under five years of age in Bangladesh. Currently he is working on typhoid fever and Hepatitis E virus.
